PACIFIC STRIKE TEAM ASSISTS EPA AT ROSE BOWL |
Elizabeth City, N.C. - Two members of the Pacific Strike Team deployed Sunday to assist the Environmental Protection Agency in monitoring particulates in the air at various Rose Bowl events in Pasadena, Calif.
The PST members serve as first responders to Bio-Watch, a safety measure that protects against possible nuclear, biological or chemical threats.
The deployment was not based on any specific intelligence of a threat but is a routine safety measure.
